My Review

It is about a girl who is adopted by Mathew and Marilla Cutheburg in Avonlea. At first they wanted a boy but the orphage made made a mistake and gave them an 11 year old girl named Anne Shirley. They agreed to keep her and raise her as their own. Anne meets her bosom friend Diana Berry and her school rival Gilbert Blyth. Anne and Gilbert don't get along well b/c he teased her about her red hair since then she hated him for that. Anne goes to Queens College to become a teacher along with Gilbert. Mathew died and Mirilla's sight is getting bad. So Anne decided to teach at Carmondy so she can stayw/ Mirilla at Green Gables. Gilbert told Anne that he was was going to switch places w/ her so that she can be w/ Marilla everyday. they became very clsoe friends.
